Ugh, I know the feeling. I mean, yours presumably actually sends you places, which I'm fine with not happening, but even without that, they've been getting pretty annoying lately. You'd think I had a history of being a troublemaker or something.

Yeah. We found out the only thing worse than having a multi-billion dollar pharmaceutical company developing bioweapons is having some of their former employees selling it to the highest bidders on the black market.

Ouch. That's got to sting. Are they at least doing it less because of the squeeze you're putting on them?

It's not so much "time off" as it is that I'm dealing with three kinds of audits at once. Bad timing. Two of them are fairly routine, but I suspect the guy running the third one's just busting my balls 'cause it's his chance to hand a SPARTAN some shit. Going to have to talk to my handlers about that, but in the meantime I sneak out to the Nexus every so often.

More or less. A little more actual violence than once upon a time, which I guess isn't really healthy, but it's usually for good causes, and I've at least scaled back the smoking and drinking since the reconstructive surgery. (Shit, that was nearly two years ago. How time flies...)

Most of the have gone underground, but the one or two that are stupid enough to try something are always the most dangerous.

I hate audits and reviews. If the auditor is giving you shit, just bust his balls back. That's usually enough to make them back down.
