So, as promised, here's part duex of my music list.
1. Carlos Santana - Victory is One, Adouma, and Freedom -- Victory is One is easily Carlos Santana at his very best, none of that crossover-pop shit there. The other two songs are Carlos Santana being Carlos Santana, and sounding good while doing so.
2. Dave Burbeck Quartet - Take Five -- Just some damn good jazz.
3. Dave Koz - Love Is On the Way and Together Again -- Both are fairly light jazz pieces. Good for when you're reading, or concentrating on something else and want something nice in the background.
4. George Benson - One on One -- More smooth jazz for your listening pleasure.
5. Grover Washington Jr. - Mr. Magic and Moonstreams -- Mr. Magic is an upbeat jazz piece, while Moonstreams is a very somber piece.
6. Van Morrison - Moondance -- A classic hit.
7. Al Green - Love and Happiness -- Another classic.
8. Beautiful South - Les Yeux Ouverts -- The song "Dream A Little Dream of Me" sung in french. At least, I think it is... I never bothered to have it translated, but it has the same melody.
9. Earth, Wind, and Fire - Shining Star -- More classic soul/funk.
10. Stevie Wonder - Superstition -- For the record, I liked this song long before it was bastardized by that levi's commercial.
11. Metallica - Light at the End of the Tunnel -- One of the few Metallica songs I liked.
12. Jeff Redd - You Called and Told Me -- This guy only had two songs, this is the most popular.
13. Motorhead - Line in the Sand and Our Lady Peace - Whatever -- Some more metal for ya. You can thank the WWE for getting me to like these songs.
14. Savage Garden - Break Me -- I kinda find this song fitting for Leon and Ada.
15. 112 f Ma$e - Love Me -- You will love this song
16. Az Yet - Hard to Say -- A "please don't break-up with me!" song, but damn these boys can sing.
17. Joe - All the Things -- Pure. Sex.
18. Carlos Santana & Dave Matthews - Love of My Life -- An upbeat love song.
19. Carlos Santana & Musiq Soulchild - Nothing at All -- All about the regrets you have when you realize you done fucked up a good thing.
20. And just to make it an even twenty, Mary J Blidge - No More Drama.
