He doesn't respond immediately. Given how things are with his family, he's honestly not sure how to process a request like that. He had to spend a minute or two quietly mulling that over.
In the back of his mind, he did want her to meet them, and for them to meet her and Sherry... but the last thing he'd want is for her to get dragged into the middle of a really nasty mess.
