He cupped her cheek with his hand. It was killing him to look in her eyes and see such emptiness. "I love you. More than anyone the world. I am close to you, so close that I'll fall apart if I don't have you in my life anymore.
"I'm still here. And I'll still be here, no matter what Wesker throws at me, what Saddler throws at me, or the next dumbass with big plans tries. I'll still be here, every single day 'til we're both old and gray."
