I was playing RE4, for the 30,000 time again, and I was reminded of a few funny things from ooc talks with

incendiary_girl that happened when Leon and Salazar first showed up to Sages.

First off OMFG! GAY ZOMBIES! Seriously... that was just crazy.

and at the start of the second disc, this conversation happens

Leon: I hate to break it out to you, but Salazar is dead

Saddler: Yes, it seems that way

Leon: Saddler, why don't you just give up and let Ashley go home?

Saddler: Perhaps you are disillusioned by over confidence just because you killed my small-time subordinant.

Leon: Saddler, you're small-time.

Saddler: *laughs for a bit* Writhe in my cage of torment, my friend.

and Saddler said it so smoothly that I just fell out laughing the moment I heard him say that.

I'm both amused and terrified by the fact that they consistantly do their ghey little dance IN EVERY SINGLE COPY OF THE GAME.

And we should put the "cage of torment" line and the "right hand comes off" line into a pit together and make 'em duke it out to the death for the title of Supreme Cheesiest and So-Funny-Because-It's-NOT Line.))

I really didn't think it would be true, but that's what they were doing. I wonder who the hell put that in there.

And Saddler says that line so smoothly and almost politely too, like he was actually saying "enjoy yourself." I had to a do a double take cause I never noticed that line before you and liz!mun pointed it out.

((Let's just hope that our homosexual little undead buddies were just some sort of programming hiccup that rigged the AI to react that way. BUT STILL. How they pull that off everytime, regardless of what copy of the game you're playing, is NUTS. XD I thought that that discovery of mine was going to be a once-in-a-lifetime thing. But the fact it can be done again and again and again...Makes ya wonder...

And that line is both hilarious and retarded since, DUDE. "Cage of Torment"? WHUT. Doesn't get more cheese-filled than that, my friend. XP

And everyone has to love Leon's "YOU'RE small-time" retort. Yeah, Leon! You tell him! You're totally stickin' it to the man, 1st grade style.

The dialogue in that game was so cringe worthy, definately a B-movie script. I think Leon's best line was to Ashey "I knew you'd be fine if you landed on your butt."

((I KNOOOW. T__T What was I thinking. Srsly. (But the thing was I didn't want to be greedy and deprive my younger siblings of the Gamecube as well. But in retrospect, I should have grabbed the N64 or something instead. I'm a such a dummy.) But at least I had the sense to bring along my GBA.

That line made me giggle, I'll admit. XP It might be mostly credited towards the fact that I have the mind of a seven-year old and I still find the word "butt" funny, but yeah.

However, the main (only?) cool part that I was honestly impressed with in the script was how they occasionally referenced real-life current events. Such as Salazar noting that terrorism is "a popular word these days" and Saddler going on about how they'll break America's habit of "trying to police the world". I'm not very political-minded, but that was sorta nifty. :3))

Hey man, if you're gonna go around offering cages of torment, you might as well do it with sincerity.

This might be a tad bit off-topic (More like completely), but I happened to come across that note you left in

scarletxmystery. In any case, I'd be more than gleeful to portray the character Ada Wong.

Wow, that was fast... and thanks for the quick response.

Anyway, the rp is taking place here.

The story thus far: Claire, who's only several months removed from Code Veronica, and Leon, several months post RE4 ~~Yeah, I know, that makes them several years apart... but as they say in the rp world, "Time Has No Meaning Yay!"~~ have found that there's an Umbrella lab still active under the blast crater that used to be Racoon City. They've also found out that Sherry is being held in that lab, and Umbrella wants the G-Virus/G-Type embryos she has.

Clare and Leon's main objective is just to get Sherry out of there, though they'll probably blow up the lab too, cause, well, they're Claire and Leon. It's what they do. And they're armed to the teeth, be a shame to waste such ammo.

Currently, they're just ducking and dodging guards while they try to sneak in. Leon found an entrance, and Claire is approaching his position. I figure that they could run into Ada who is either trying to enter to lab, or making an exit (should, say, one of the g-type embryos have grown up and decided to break out and cause trouble just when Claire and Leon decide to break in).

Most of this is spun out of other small rp stuff that's connected through

sages_of_chaos and

dear_multiverse, which are multi-fandom communities (in the form of advice columns), and other characters from there may or may not show up, but'll probably be referenced at some point.

That's an original storyline, and after reading through the SL/the posts you already have in the open, I take it that Ada is after one of the embryos...Either that or the G-Virus coursing through Sherry's blood?

Yeah, anyway...I'm going to have her take on a false ID, play it by disguise, and get into the Laboratories in that manner. Tell me if you have any objections because, after all, this is your Role-Play.

You can have Ada be there for whatever reasons you like, but securing one of the embryoes for Wesker makes the most sense. You might want to drop a quick note to Claire's mun, though to make sure everything is ok.

She's cool, though, so there shouldn't be a problem. Plus she's been wanting someone to play Ada, just so she can have Claire make fun of how Leon is wrapped around Ada's finger.
