Welcome to my world; hope you survive the experience.
I remember when my training first started, and I can tell you for a fact that it'll never get any easier. Ever. But that's the entire point of the training you're going through.
Your instructors aren't there to make sure you do your best, and frankly, they'll be insulted if your best is all you can give. It's not their job to push you to your limits, but to push you past those limits, and then continue to push you even further every. Single. Day. When they tell you that your best isn't enough, that's what they mean. They never want you to become complacent. Remember that and, well, it won't make training any easier, at all, but you'll understand what your instructors want out of you a lot better. It's up to you to give it, and I know that you can.
I have my own training to do, so I won't be terribly involved in your own. But if you need anything, just give me a call.
