The muscles in legs tensed as she closed the distance between them. He wasn't sure if was about to run to her or run away from her, but in the end, he just stayed rooted to the spot.

Her first, the answer was obvious, but her second question caught him off guard. Why was he offering to help her? Shouldn't he be trying to put her in jail?

He thought about it for a few seconds, the silence between them practicaly glaring. Finally, he gave her the most honest answer he could. "Because there are some things in my life I can't just let go of. Not yet...

"I know exactly what I'd be getting into, by getting you free from Wesker. My offer still stands."
